ABOUT MICHELLE

Michelle Sauve graduated Cum Laude from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst with a B.S. in Computer Graphics: Aesthetic and Practical Applications.

With a broad, deep and diverse education in hand, Michelle went on to work in the Media Communications Group of Digital Equipment Corporation, a pioneering company in America's early years in the high tech industry. (DEC was acquired by Compaq, which subsequently merged with Hewlett-Packard.) Here, she enjoyed the benefits of working within a multinational corporation, especially the diversity of people and projects she encountered, and the multidisciplinary teamwork that many of these projects required. Her favorite experience was living in Geneva, Switzerland, after being selected to work within the European counterpart to her media group in Massachusetts.

Following her corporate experience, Michelle founded Sauve Design in 1991. After doing business in the Boston area for more than ten years, she relocated to the Connecticut River Valley of Massachusetts, where she grew up. Michelle retains the passion for design that emerged in her college years and gets great joy in creating elegant, sustainable graphic design solutions to new communications projects. Known as an unflappable project manager, and an intelligent and gentle presence throughout the design process, Michelle looks forward to bringing these skills to her collaboration with you.
